Hello everyone, we hope you are enjoying this lovely weather! It is with this in mind that we are writing to inform you that we have made the decision to cancel the performance on Monday night due to the increasing temperatures. We will look to rearrange this for the new term instead.
Stay safe and keep singing!
To celebrate the closing of the term, and this Choir Year, we are holding a Friends and Family Concert on Monday 18th July. Registration as usual will start at 7pm, with the performance starting at 7:30pm.
We will be performing a selection of songs from our current repertoire, as well as revisiting some older ones. Audience participation is welcomed!
We look forward to seeing you there!
Based in Barton-le-Clay, Bedfordshire, we are open to all abilities and ages. We are well established and have been singing together since September 2010. We do not hold auditions nor is anyone expected to sing solo and no music reading ability is required as we learn by ear. If you are looking for a group where the focus is on the enjoyment of singing with other like-minded people, then this is the choir for you, and you will be sure of a very friendly welcome.
We meet on Mondays during term time from 7.30 – 9.00 pm in the School Hall at Ramsey Manor Lower School, Barton-le-Clay. Although we are a large choir with an average attendance of around 70 people per rehearsal, we are now on the look out for new members.
We rehearse under the guidance of our Choir master Colin Fraser and our accompanist Andrew Longland-Meech.
